Scarlett Bordeaux requests her release from Impact Wrestling

PWInsider.com is reporting that Scarlett Bordeaux, one of the hottest acts – both literally and figuratively – at Impact Wrestling right now, has requested her release from the company last week.

The 28-year-old known as the Smokeshow started working for Impact in July of last year and has been consistently pushed as one of the company’s biggest stars since her arrival. She only made her Impact in-ring debut at the end of March and defeated Glenn Gilbertti, better known to fans as Disco Inferno in an intergender match.

Her real-life boyfriend Killer Kross also requested his release from Impact but it was turned down. According to PWInsider, her deal is per appearance and not a guaranteed contract which might make getting out of it easier than a regular contract. Regardless, her deal runs till the Summer of this year and if her request is not granted, she would only have a few more months to go with the promotion.
