Themes of Mike Bennett and DJ Z pulled from Impact over licensing issues

If you saw Impact this week you might have noticed that the theme songs for both Mike Bennett and DJ Z were removed in post-production and both wrestlers walked out to no themes on television.

It seems that TNA had some issues, again financially, about acquiring proper rights for these two particular theme songs and there were rumors that POP TV were not going to air the show because it would make them liable to damages as well if they air something without proper licensing.

The TNA production staff had to scramble to remove the songs in post-production hours before the show was set to air.

The two songs in question were written and proceed by Dale Oliver who is the music composer for TNA. He has been producing songs for TNA since 2002.
