Andy Barton, who has served as Executive Vice President for TNA Wrestling, has left the company. The announcement came on TNA’s Facebook page.
“We wish TNA executive Andy Barton all the best as he pursues a new opportunity,” the small statement read, before pushing the new hiring of Chief Strategy Officer Eric Sherman.
Barton started working for TNA back in 2002 when Panda Energy took over the majority interest from the Jarrett family. Prior to that he served six years at Trifecta Entertainment as Vice President which was owned by Dixie Carter.
