TNA Impact Wrestling to air in China on Youku.com

TNA President Dixie Carter announced that Impact Wrestling will be airing in China every week starting next Wednesday at 8PM on the country’s version of YouTube, titled Youku.

Launched in December 2003, Youku has more than 500 million monthly active users and 800 million daily video views, making the platform fit enough to carry Impact. Getting clearance to run on actual television is a very hard task to do in this communist country so reaching out to a video hosting service provider like Youku was the next best thing for TNA.

TNA broadcasts will be archived at http://i.youku.com/tnawrestling.
