TNA issues statement on UK television situation

Shortly after Challenge TV announced that they are dropping TNA starting January 2017, TNA issued a statement and somewhat took a dig at their UK partners, saying that they know their amazing fans in the United Kingdom “do not want to wait 3-5 days” to watch the program after it airs in the US.

“In today’s world, spoilers are inevitable. Our goal is to broadcast Impact Wrestling in the UK as close to the US premiere as possible,” the statement added. TNA said that they look forward to announcing that opportunity soon and thanked Challenge for the great relationship and what they did to their UK viewers throughout the years.

TNA currently airs in the United Kingdom on Sundays at 9PM, three days after the show airs in the United States.
