TNA Knockouts champion Trinity expected back in WWE very soon

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting through his Select service that Trinity, the current Impact Knockouts champion, is on her way back to WWE very soon.

The artist formerly known as Naomi quit WWE along with Sasha Banks in May 2022 while the duo were the WWE Women’s Tag Team champions, citing creative differences. She did not wrestle anywhere until she joined Impact while Banks went on to wrestle for New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Stardom as Mercedes Mone.

Sapp quoted sources within both WWE and Impact about this development and noted that it would take something big for her not to return at this point.

Trinity, the wife of Jimmy Uso, is defending her title at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view next week against Jordynne Grace. She has been champion since the Slammiversary show in July 2023, winning the title three months after she joined the company.
