TNA looking to return to Universal Studios for few tapings

PWInsider.com is reporting that TNA is in discussions with Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, to use their old soundstage for a few Impact tapings next month.

The cancelation of the December 5 Impact from Chattanooga might be related to this particular news as the company plans to tape different Impact shows several days in a row to cut on costs.

While TNA doesn’t charge for attendance at Universal, the company stands to lose less money than holding Impact on the road since the arenas are never close to full to cover production costs and other fees.

TNA moved out of Universal Studios at the end of February of this year and started holding Impact tapings on the road with the March 14 episode.
