Impact Wrestling’s Tommy Dreamer announced on his House of Hardcore podcast that he is recovering from his third skin cancer surgery after a spot was detected on his head.
Dreamer said that it was removed through Mohs surgery, a procedure which involves cutting away thin layers of skin until there are no signs of cancer. This was his second cancer detection on his head, with the previous one being on his chest. It took a total of 19 stitches on the inside and 23 stitches on the outside to close the wound.
The former ECW champion noted that he blames his frequent visits to tanning beds in the past as the cause of his cancers.
Dreamer took time away from Impact in April of this year following the Rebellion pay-per-view to deal with health issues involving his mother and himself.
