Tournament to crown new TNA World champion announced

During last night’s Impact, TNA President Dixie Carter announced an eight-men tournament to crown the new TNA World champion. The matches will take over the course of the next few weeks.

The brackets announced are Jeff Hardy vs Chris Sabin and Bobby Roode vs James Storm with the winners of each match facing each other in a semi-final match.

On the other side there is Kurt Angle vs Austin Aries and Magnus vs Samoa Joe with the winners of those two matches facing off each other in the second semi-final match.

The first match takes place next week with Jeff Hardy vs Chris Sabin in a full metal mayhem match.
