GFW star Tyrus posted a video on his Instagram bashing his employer for treating him like a “second-class citizen” creatively and will not show up for tapings this week.
The artist formerly known as Brodus Clay in WWE said that his mentor Dusty Rhodes once told him that the wrestling business is like a canvas, and he is the artist. He explained that he’s been with Impact for the past three years and the memories are mostly positive, however, the past four or five television tapings were terrible for him, saying he felt handcuffed and treated like a second-class citizen.
Tyrus added that he feels he earned his way of getting something better and he’s not happy with the way they’ve been booking him creatively, announcing he’s on “hold-out status” and won’t be at Impact tapings this week unless things change.
