A look at the Riyadh stadium hosting WWE’s Crown Jewel event

The King Fahd International Stadium which will host WWE’s Crown Jewel event in November is the biggest stadium in Riyadh, with a capacity of over 67,000 seats.

The stadium was built 31 years ago and is mostly used for football (soccer) games. It cost just over $500 million to build and the partial roof around the whole circumference of the stadium is shaped like an umbrella. This location is slightly bigger in terms of seating space than the King Abdullah Sports City stadium in Jeddah where the Greatest Royal Rumble was held.

Several events as part of the Saudi Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia’s social and economic reform program, will also be held in the stadium in the years to come.
