Alexa Bliss criticized for supporting ex-boyfriend Murphy in angle with Aalyah Mysterio

Alexa Bliss suffered the wrath of fans after making a comment supporting her ex-boyfriend Murphy in his angle with Aalyah Mysterio, the 19-year-old daughter of Rey Mysterio.

In a tweet which has now been deleted, the former Raw and Smackdown Women’s champion wrote, “Honestly I don’t blame him lol,” and then added the hashtag #ShootYourShotBud.

A number of fans pointed out that Aalyah is only 19 and Murphy is 32 and the angle is wrong on many levels.

“Getting attacked for writing about a show y’all are watching anyway,” Bliss wrote addressing the negative feedback. “Try to make one comment supporting my ex & now I’m the bad guy!”

Bliss then continued, “Do I know her or her age? No. Was I trying to be supportive of Murphy? Yes. Back off and calm down ppl. Just happy Murphy is getting the success he’s worked for. That’s all. Be bothered by something else.”

Bliss and Murphy were engaged but the two broke off their relationship in late 2018.
