Batista on Raw next week for face off with Triple H

Batista will be appearing on Monday Night Raw live next week on the post-Fastlane episode.

Batista appeared on Raw yesterday via a video but next week live in Pittsburgh, the former World Heavyweight champion will be in the house for a face-to-face encounter with Triple H.

While their match for WrestleMania has not been officially announced yet, this segment next week is designed to officially kick off their program. Batista returned last week and spoiled the Ric Flair birthday bash, dragging Flair out of his locker room after attacking him. He then asked Triple H if he got his attention now.

Batista and WWE had been in discussions over a possible WrestleMania program and the now Hollywood actor has expressed his desire to have another go at WrestleMania against Triple H. Batista last appeared at WrestleMania five years ago at WrestleMania XXX, tapping out to Daniel Bryan in the main event. He was in contention to be Ronda Rousey’s tag team partner last year but that role eventually went to Kurt Angle.
