Bayley and DIY show up on NXT

Main roster stars Bayley and DIY made an appearance on NXT last night as the brand tries to continue its upward momentum following several successful shows.

The WWE Tag Team champions returned to the brand they know – and fought in – very well over the past years and were on hand to check out the NXT Tag Team champions Fraxiom. The duo were interviewed backstage and Ciampa said that he’s been hearing that Fraxiom are labeled as the best tag team in NXT history, something which Johnny Gargano did not agree with. Both promised no shenanigans and watched the NXT tag team title match from the perch, keeping their promise.

Bayley also showed up at the end of the broadcast, interrupting the main event segment which had an in-ring promo from former NXT Women’s champion Roxanne Perez. Perez was nice at first but then heeled on the crowd and said that the NXT women’s division will be lost without her and that the fans don’t deserve her.

Perez added that NXT in the past needed the Four Horsewomen but now they only need one: herself. Bayley interrupted to a big pop from the crowd and tried to knock some sense into Perez’s head to no avail.

With the show going out of time, Bayley said she’s going to beat Tiffany Stratton for the title and then Perez slapped Bayley on her face and the two brawled.
