Bischoff discusses who he would like to induct him in the WWE Hall of Fame

Speaking during one of the latest episodes of his podcast 83 Weeks, soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff was asked who he would like to induct him into the Hall of Fame next month.

He said that there’s no “obvious answer” to him regarding that question, but noted that Hulk Hogan is one of his best friends and the two share a long history together.

“We’ve been friends outside of wrestling as long as we’ve been friends inside, maybe longer than we were friends inside of wrestling,” Bischoff said. “Certainly, if I have to sit down and think about that, that’s probably going to be where I’m going to go to first.”

Hogan is set to be inducted in the Hall of Fame again with the nWo so he might be unavailable for that.

Bischoff also said that Bill Shaw would be a good choice as well, crediting Shaw for giving him the real opportunity to run WCW. Shaw was the former WCW President and the Vice President of TBS and made way for Bischoff to take on the WCW President role in 1995.

“There’s a lot of people that come to my mind that make sense, but I’ve thought about it more just now than I have all day,” Bischoff added.
