Bobby Roode not signed to a WWE deal yet but it’s close

Speaking to the Peterborough Examiner, former TNA champion Bobby Roode admitted that he has not signed a deal with WWE yet despite the rumors floating around that he signed a week before he appeared at NXT Takeover: Dallas.

“I’m not officially signed yet,” said Roode. “The Internet has blown up over it, and I mean I’m close, but I don’t want to spoil anything or ruin anything. I want to wait until it’s official. I don’t want to jinx anything either.”

Bobby Roode popped up at NXT Takeover: Dallas right before the main event started and was acknowledged on television with a graphic and by the announcers. Roode wrestled for WWE between 2002 and 2003 as an enhancement talent appearing on Sunday Night Heat and Velocity.
