Braun Strowman wins the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match

Braun Strowman’s opponents in the Money In The Bank ladder match all got those hands but Strowman got something else: the MITB briefcase.

The Raw brand was the big winner last night on the pay-per-view as Mixed Match Challenge partners Team Little Big managed to grab the two briefcases which were up for grabs in the two separate ladder matches.

Strowman had no chance of cashing in on the same night unlike his former partner as the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match was the main event of the broadcast. The Miz was originally the favorite to win the match but his odds went down as the day progressed and was surpassed by Strowman a few hours before the pay-per-view started.

Braun became the 18th different Superstar to win this match with only CM Punk having won it twice. Out of all the winners, only three men failed to successfully cash in so far: John Cena, Damien Sandow, and Baron Corbin last year.

Strowman is going to have a tough time cashing in on the current Universal champion as Brock Lesnar is rarely in the building nowadays so he better act fast next time Lesnar shows up at a WWE event!
