Brock Lesnar annihilates John Cena to regain WWE title after a decade

Brock Lesnar managed to do something that we haven’t seen on television in decades, if ever at all, completely manhandling the WWE champion and getting nearly 100% of the offense and losing a ton of sweat in the process.

It was in 2004 that Brock Lesnar was last seen wearing the WWE title, losing the belt to the late, great WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero at No Way Out. This time, Lesnar delivered an unprecedented 16 German suplexes in one match and two F5s, one of them in the first thirty seconds of the match.

John Cena took a lot of punishment from someone who is considered to be one of the baddest men walking on God’s green Earth and the total domination of Lesnar was an excellent way to continue building Lesnar as the conquerer.

It will be interesting to see how Lesnar will now be used considering he’s the champion and only works a limited amount of dates with the company. While WWE found themselves in a similar situation with The Rock a few years ago after winning the title at the Royal Rumble, the plan was clear that he would drop it at WrestleMania a couple of months later but the rumors now are that Lesnar will hold on to the title till WrestleMania which is still six months away.
