Brock Lesnar busted by USADA for drug test failure

The UFC announced that USADA – the anti-doping agency in charge of their drug testing – informed them about a possible violation from Brock Lesnar, which if confirmed will probably spell the end of his MMA career.

Lesnar apparently tested positive in an out-of-competition drug test administered on June 28 and USADA informed the UFC on July 14, a few days after he defeated Mark Hunt at UFC 200. The sample was tested at UCLA Olympic Analytical Laboratory.

Since his return was announced, the USADA tested Lesnar a total of eight times. A USADA spokesman told MMAFighting.com that Lesnar passed all his previous tests. For more information on these tests, one can learn a whole lot from these trials, they are some of the highest in calibur.

If further tests confirm that he did really take a banned substance, he could be facing a 2 year suspension from the UFC and an additional ban from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
