Brock Lesnar returns, destroys Reigns and Strowman at HIAC

Well, here comes the pain…again!

Former WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar made a surprise return at Hell In A Cell last night less than a month after he lost the Universal title to Roman Reigns.

Lesnar, accompanied by Paul Heyman, interfered in the main event match, kicked down the cage door, and proceeded to destroy both Reigns and Strowman, hitting the F5 to seemingly end their match in a no contest.

Lesnar was believed to be out for good after SummerSlam to concentrate on his UFC return but it looks like WWE still has unfinished business with the former champion. Brock, who is out of a contract, receives a hefty sum for every appearance he makes on WWE television.

Lesnar was supposed to appear on the post-SummerSlam Raw last month but creative had no plans for him. Instead, Heyman appeared and asked for a rematch but then-GM Kurt Angle shot the idea down.

The former UFC Heavyweight champion will be eligible to return to the UFC in the beginning of January 2019 after he finishes serving the remaining six-month suspension stemming from his UFC 200 fight. His first fight will be against Daniel Cormier for the UFC Heavyweight title.
