Broken gimmick trademarks transferred to Matt Hardy

Matt Hardy now owns the Broken trademarks related to his character as Anthem got out of the game after Ed Nordholm promised to turn over everything to the former champion.

The trademarks for “Broken Matt,” “Broken Matt Hardy,” and “Broken Brilliance” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office are now all registered in Matt’s name. It’s interesting to note that WWE did not file any trademark related to his Woken gimmick.

“TMs I filed last year are officially safe. Glad that’s over. I promised I’d always fight for you & I did. Always will,” his wife Reby wrote on Twitter.

Ruby Hardy had a lot of public Twitter fights with both Nordholm and Jarrett over who owns the rights for the gimmick that Hardy himself created.
