Bron Breakker regains NXT title on Monday Night Raw

Bron Breakker regained the NXT title on Monday Night Raw after beating Dolph Ziggler, just two days after he lost the main event match against Ziggler at NXT Stand & Deliver.

This was the first time that the NXT title was defended on Raw and Breakker won with his military press slam finishing move, ending Ziggler’s 27-day reign.

This is Breakker’s second run with the title after the first one was cut short at 63 days when Ziggler beat him and Tommaso Ciampa in a triple threat match at the Roadblock event in March. He originally won it from Tommaso Ciampa at the New Year’s Evil show on USA Network on January 4.

There were some rumors that Breakker will be called up to the main roster soon but getting the title again seems like he will be stick around in NXT for the foreseeable future.
