Cena leaving again after WrestleMania to film Daddy’s Home 2

John Cena will be taking some time off from WWE following WrestleMania as Deadline.com is reporting that he will be shooting a new movie – Daddy’s Home 2 – along with Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Mel Gibson, John Lithgow, Linda Cardellini, Owen Vaccaro and Scarlett Estevez.

The former champ made a cameo appearance at the end of the first film, however this time around his role will be significantly more than just a cameo. Filming is set to start within the next few days and Cena is expected to join the party after his WrestleMania duties are wrapped up.

Daddy’s Home 2 – from Paramount Pictures – will be released in theaters on November 10, 2017.
