Cesaro agrees to new WWE deal

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Cesaro is staying put with WWE and has agreed to a new deal.

News came out last week that Cesaro’s contract with the promotion is expiring right after WrestleMania but the Swiss Cyborg has finally made up his mind and is sticking around. With now All Elite Wrestling also in the mix, WWE is offering better deals to its stars in hopes of not going to their competition.

Cesaro has been working with WWE since 2011, starting with Florida Championship Wrestling and then transitioning to the main roster in 2012. Considered one of the best wrestlers in the promotion, the 40-year-old Cesaro has not won any major singles titles in WWE except for one run with the United States title. He has, however, won the Tag Team titles on seven different occasions with three different partners.
