Chris Hero going back to WWE

Dave Meltzer of the Observer is reporting that veteran indie star Chris Hero will be heading back to WWE after a failed first stint between 2011 and 2013.

The 37-year-old Hero wrestled in Florida Championship Wrestling as Kassius Ohno and then on NXT as well where he was part of the class which included Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Corey Graves, Leo Kruger, Derrick Bateman, Neville, and others.

Ever since leaving NXT, Hero took the indie scene by storm and wrestled all over the place. He is considered to be one of the best independent wrestlers who has not been signed to a WWE deal yet.

Hero, after the reports came up that he was going back to WWE, went on Twitter and wrote, “I can’t help but to be disappointed by irresponsible journalism.”
