CM Punk says he will appear at WrestleMania 40

CM Punk said in a video promoting his appearance on Raw next week in Chicago that he will be at WrestleMania 40 despite his injury.

“What are the first four letters in Philadelphia? Phil. You can’t have WrestleMania without Phil,” Punk said. “Whether I’m invited or uninvited, it never matters to CM Punk, he’ll be there.”

This will be Punk’s first appearance at a WrestleMania since his WrestleMania 29 match against The Undertaker back in 2013. Unfortunately for him, he won’t be wrestling so that has to wait another year.

Punk has been kept off WWE television ever since he injured his shoulder at the Royal Rumble and appeared on Raw the next night to announce his injury. He was a panel member at the WrestleMania 40 press conference in Las Vegas in February.
