CM Punk shows up at NXT Deadline

Fans in Bridgeport got their own dose of CM Punk last night at Deadline, as hours after he teased it on social media, the man of the hour showed up to greet NXT fans.

Shawn Michaels opened up the show first to welcome everyone to Deadline and asked everyone if they’re ready.

Cue in Cult of Personalty to a big pop from the crowd. Punk was wearing a pink Calgary Hitmen hockey hoodie, a nice choice of outfit to stand in the ring with HBK! He did the HBK pose at the top of the ramp and greeted fans at ringside.

“I’m sorry I didn’t want to step over your gimmick, do you want to tell everybody to suck it now?” Punk asked HBK.

Shawn pointed out the hoodie that he was wearing and Punk said that he forgot the HBK merchandise at home.

“You guys made up, I made up with Triple H, it’s all about healing,” Punk replied.

Punk took a selfie with Michaels and then said he’s still undecided if he wants to be on Raw, Smackdown, or NXT. Fans chanted his name, he hugged Michaels, and the segment ended.
