CM Punk signed multi-year deal with WWE yesterday

PWInsider.com is reporting that the deal between WWE and CM Punk was signed yesterday just hours before the Survivor Series and that Punk is signed on a multi-year deal.

Now, if that will be completed is a whole other story considering the history of CM Punk in both WWE and AEW.

Meanwhile, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select adds that Triple H and CM Punk had a long conversation earlier in the week where both of them cleared the air and decided they want to get back in business. Things were kept so quite that only a handful of people were aware of what was coming and Triple H took over producing the final few minutes of the show as the majority where clueless.

Punk rolled into backstage in plain sight before he was set to walk out to Cult of Personality, although an area backstage was cleared off to accommodate the surprise.

It was also noted that all 10 participants in the WarGames match were told that CM Punk was coming out following the match just minutes before they actually went out, so all of them were aware of the surprise that was coming.
