Corbin, Crews, Enzo & Cass debut on Raw

The Raw after WrestleMania did not bring in any outside Superstars however it did bring a couple of popular acts from NXT.

First to make his Raw debut was Baron Corbin, the winner of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Corbin’s involvement on Raw was expected considering he won the battle royal just 24 hours before. The former NFL player had been stuck in NXT since October 2012 and his progression to the main roster was slower than the others who debuted on Raw.

Apollo Crews also made his main roster arrival yesterday, defeating another NXT alumni, Tyler Breeze in his first live match on USA Network. Crews’ journey to the main roster took around a year and a half, having signed with WWE’s NXT back in October 2014.

The popular duo Enzo and Cass made the biggest noise with their Raw debut and were inserted in a program with the veteran Dudley Boyz. Enzo killed it on the mic and the Raw crowd definitely knew who they were, chanting along with all the usual catchphrases. Their journey to the main roster started in mid 2013. Their sidekick, Carmella, was nowhere to be seen and it seems that she will be staying put at NXT for the time being.

Making their debut on Smackdown will be The Vaudevillains, the team of Aiden English and Simon Gotch. The former NXT Tag Team champions have been in NXT since June 2014. Hopefully their run will not be similar to that of The Ascension!
