Coronavirus has reached Tampa Bay with two patients testing positive

The coronavirus has reached Tampa Bay, Florida, the site of WrestleMania, and the news was confirmed yesterday with two Bay Area patients testing positive.

Yesterday morning, the Governor held a press conference to give details on the state’s preparations and how to deal with those who test positive for the COVID-19 according to FOX 13.

With WrestleMania just a month away, it will be interesting to see how WWE and city officials will be tackling this ever-growing problem. Around 80,000 fans from all around the world are expected to descend upon Tampa Bay for WrestleMania week and with many conventions going on, there will be a lot of hand shakes and contact.

Last week WWE said they are monitoring the situation and working with Tampa officials to see how to move forward and what implementations should be done to ensure the safety of everyone coming to the city.

While many big events have been canceled by major corporations, as of today, there are no plans to cancel WrestleMania.
