Details on upcoming WWE/Scooby-Doo movie revealed

WWE Superstars will be mixing it up with Scooby-Doo this Summer with the movie Scooby Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon coming out on August 9.

The animated movie is co-produced by WWE Studios, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation and will be available on Blu-Ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital HD.

WWE Superstars The Undertaker, Triple H, Sheamus, Paige, Lana, Rsuev, The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Goldust, Vince McMahon, and Stephanie McMahon all recorded their own voice-overs for their respective characters.

This is the second collaboration between WWE and the Scooby-Doo brand. “The huge fan reaction to ‘Scooby-Doo! Wrestlemania Mystery’ proved how well the gang paired with the WWE Superstars. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is thrilled to partner once again with WWE to create ‘Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon'” said Mary Ellen Thomas, WBHE Vice President, Family & Animation Marketing. “Scooby-Doo and WWE fans of all ages will enjoy this thrilling, new adventure featuring the voice talents of their favorite WWE Superstars.”

The synopsis for this new movie reads, “When Scooby and the gang attend an off-road racing competition, the last thing they expect is to stumble upon a menacing phantom. However, before they can say “ruh-roh,” things take a turn for the worse, as Inferno schemes to sabotage the race and cause chaos for everyone. With the help of WWE Superstars Triple H, Paige and Sheamus, as well as Scooby’s new driving partner, The Undertaker, it’s up to Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang to save the race before it’s too late!”
