Did Kevin Owens drop first hint of exiting WWE?

Kevin Owens stirred the pot yesterday when he sent a very curious tweet with some coordinates after Fightful Wrestling reported that his WWE contract will be expiring in January 2022, just a few more months from now.

Owens tweeted “43.8791 103.4591” and changed his Twitter location to “Almost there”. Putting the 43.8791N 103.4591W coordinates in Google Maps drops you in South Dakota, and more specifically, Mount Rushmore.

The tweet was eventually deleted but Mount Rushmore is the name of the faction that Kevin Owens, Adam Cole, and The Young Bucks had when they were all part of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla many years ago.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful added that the contract is expiring soon due to an exercise in restructuring of contracts done before the pandemic hit. It is believed that others are also in the same situation which might also lead to an exodus from WWE.
