Discussions between Shaq and WWE resume for WrestleMania match

Discussions between WWE and Shaquille O’Neal have restarted in hopes to come to an agreement to wrestle The Big Show at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando next month.

Addressing his listeners on The Big Podcast on PodcastOne, the NBA legend said that he talked with “somebody high up” in WWE and now they’re back talking, once again making sure to say whatever happened before was not his fault. “I just want the people to know it had nothing to do with me, despite what you hear,” O’Neal said.

When his co-host said that it’s not what everyone else is saying, quoting headlines from websites, O’Neal said, “No, I haven’t seen them. We talked yesterday. I didn’t know that. I’m going to see you. I’m not worried about it Big Show. I’m going to see you. The world ain’t that big for me not to see you.”

Shaq last appeared in a WWE ring at WrestleMania last year when he was one of the surprise entrants in the Andre The Giant Memorial battle royal.
