Dolph Ziggler signs new WWE deal

PWInsider.com is reporting that Dolph Ziggler has signed a new multi-year deal with WWE, keeping him there for the next couple of years.

Ziggler’s contract was up in a few months and there were rumors that he was not going to pen a new deal as he was unhappy with how things are evolving.

Ziggler has been part of WWE since 2004, first starting at Ohio Valley Wrestling before moving up to the main roster with the rest of The Spirit Squad a year later.

He was sent back to developmental for nearly two years after The Spirit Squad disbanded and returned on WWE television under his present name in September 2008.

Considered to be one of the best workers in the company, Ziggler held numerous titles including the World Heavyweight title although his run with the big belt wasn’t as successful.
