Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Dominik Mysterio will be undergoing elbow surgery for an injury he suffered on the April 15 episode of Raw in his match against Andrade.

The injury revolves around his ulnar collateral ligament, the ligament that runs on the inner side of the elbow.

Recovery period for surgery on this ligament takes around nine months according to the Cleveland Clinic, and on certain occasions, it takes even more.

It’s often associated with baseball players and it’s also called a Tommy John surgery, based on the baseball pitcher Tommy John who in 1974 went for the first procedure.
