Double Smackdown tapings tonight in Albany, New York

WWE will do a double Smackdown television tapings tonight, first with the live broadcast and then tape next week’s show due to the European tour.

WWE will hold four live events in Europe on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before returning to the U.S. on Monday in time for Raw so that meant that next week’s Smackdown had to be taped.

Announced for tonight’s Smackdown are Riddle vs Jey Uso, Drew McIntyre vs Sami Zayn in a lumberjack match, Madcap Moss vs Angel, and a contract signing between Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.

Roman Reigns still doesn’t have a match announced for Backlash and he only had an interaction with Shinsuke Nakamura two weeks ago. The undisputed champ will be part of Backlash so it is likely that his program for that show will start tonight.
