Drew McIntyre returns at Money In The Bank in London

Drew McIntyre returned at Money In The Bank to a monstrous pop from the London crowd and set his sights on Gunther and the Intercontinental title.

The former WWE champion came out after Gunther defeated Riddle to retain the IC title and went face-to-face with the Austrian Superstar. Gunther pushed him and McIntyre retaliated with the Glasgow Kiss and then a Claymore kick. He then posed with the Intercontinental title as the crowd chanted for the returning Scotsman.

McIntyre has not been seen on WWE television since WrestleMania 39 and after a few months injured it was reported that there had been some issues between McIntyre and WWE over a new deal and his direction.

His deal is rumored to expire at the end of this year.
