Drew McIntyre’s wife undergoes emergency surgery

Drew McIntyre’s wife Kaitlyn will not be at Clash at the Castle supporting him as she underwent emergency surgery and he promised that he will win the title for her and bring it home.

At the Kickoff show, McIntyre said that he wasn’t going to talk about the subject but he can’t stop thinking about it.

“The one person who’s not going to be there is my wife because she’s in surgery right now, emergency surgery,” McIntyre said. “And she told me, ‘I want you to go there and bring that title home.’ And I’m going to bring that title home.”

The Scotsman added that he’s never been this focused his entire life and recounted that the last Clash at the Castle in Wales was a “stab through my heart” and his family’s heart and is not going to let it happen again.

“I’m back home. I couldn’t have dreamt of this moment. I’m going to have my people there, my family there, a redo, and a chance to make this right,” McIntyre said.
