Early betting odds for Bad Blood 2024

WWE is back with another premium live event as Bad Blood takes place live from Atlanta, Georgia tomorrow with a special start time of 6PM ET.

The show will be held exactly 27 years to the day of the original Bad Blood, a show which was then headlined by The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels in the first-ever Hell In A Cell match.

Marketed under the In Your House brand, the 1997 Bad Blood was held at the Kiel Center in St. Louis, Missouri with over 21,000 fans in attendance. The seven-match card saw the arrival of Kane, who helped Shawn Michaels defeat The Undertaker in the HIAC match.

Today we present you with the early online betting odds for the show. Remember, odds will likely change so please be careful when betting with real money!

The only Hell In A Cell match on the card features CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre, with their year-long feud climaxing on this very show. Punk is 1/14 favorite to defeat the Scottish Warrior who is at 7/1 in his odds.

Mortal enemies Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns team up for the first time, and probably the last time, to take down a common enemy: The Bloodline! The WWE champion and Reigns are 1/5 favorites to beat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu who have 3/1 odds as of this writing.

Former stablemates Damian Priest will clash with Finn Balor. Priest has odds of 1/4 and favorite in this match while Balor currently has 5/2 odds.

The Judgment Day will also be represented in the Women’s World title match as champion Liv Morgan defends against Rhea Ripley. Morgan is 1/7 favorite to retain her title and Ripley is 4/1 to win back the title she never lost.

Bayley is looking to regain the WWE Women’s title against champion Nia Jax but things are not looking good for her on paper as Jax is 1/4 favorite while Bayley is the underdog with 5/2 odds as well.

None of the individuals who wrestled at the original Bad Blood are part of this premium live event, although people like The Rock, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker remain an integral part of World Wrestling Entertainment 27 years on.

The original Bad Blood card featured The Nation of Domination defeating The Legion of Doom, Max Mini and Nova defeating Mosaic and Tarantula, The Godwinns defeating The Headbangers to become the new WWE Tag Team champions, Owen Hart defeating Faarooq to win the vacant Intercontinental title, The Disciples of Apocalypse defeating Los Boricuas, Bret Hart and The British Bulldog defeating The Patriot and Vader, and Shawn Michaels defeating The Undertaker in the Hell In A Cell match.

A tournament was held to determine the Intercontinental champion after Steve Austin had to vacate the title following his injury at SummerSlam when he was piledrived by Owen Hart.

The eight WWE Superstars in that tournament, apart from Hart and Faarooq included Brian Tillman, Dude Love, Goldust, Ken Shamrock, Ahmed Johnson, and Rocky Maivia. Shamrock originally won his quarter final match against Faarooq but was later injured so Faarooq advanced. Hart defeated Goldust and Pillman to advance to the final match.

After this event, WWE held only two more Bad Blood pay-per-views, in 2003 and 2004.

The 2003 event, held at the Compaq Center in Houston, Texas in June, was headlined by Triple H vs Kevin Nash in a Hell In A Cell match with Mick Foley as the special guest referee. That card featured nine matches in total in front of 10,000 fans.

The 2004 event was held in June as well from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio and that had Triple H vs Shawn Michaels in another Hell In A Cell match. The eight-match card had 9,000 fans in attendance.

The 2024 Bad Blood premium live event was announced to the world on July 6 via a YouTube video featuring Cody Rhodes and Metro Boomin. Boomin’s song, GTA, was announced as the official theme song for the show.

Well over 14,000 fans will be in attendance tomorrow at the State Farm Arena with the show guaranteed to sell out. There are less than 100 tickets left on Ticketmaster for this event, which makes it a financial success. Tickets on the secondary market are also selling for a higher price than previous WWE premium live events.
