Ember Moon replaces Alexa Bliss on tonight’s season two premiere of Mixed Match Challenge

Former Raw Women’s champion Alexa Bliss will be replaced by Ember Moon for the season two premiere of WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge on Facebook tonight, teaming up with Braun Strowman to take on Kevin Owens and Natalya.

WWE announced the change due to Bliss’ arm injury which they’re claiming she suffered at Hell In A Cell on Sunday thanks to Ronda Rousey. Bliss will also be off the live events this weekend. Bliss did not wrestle on Raw last night but still appeared on the show, coming out with Mickie James and Alicia Fox for their tag match.

Alexa will take her place as Strowman’s tag team partner once she is cleared to compete. During the first season of Mixed Match Challenge, something similar happened and Charlotte Flair had to be replaced by Becky Lynch due to dental work. Flair eventually returned for the final match, which she and Bobby Roode lost.

The other match set for tonight is AJ Styles and Charlotte Flair vs Jimmy Uso and Naomi.

Mixed Match Challenge starts immediately following Smackdown Live on Facebook Watch.
