Erick Rowan undergoes surgery to repair torn rotator cuff

Jason Powell at ProWrestling.net is reporting that Erick Rowan underwent surgery yesterday in Birmingham, Alabama to repair a torn rotator cuff.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Jeffrey Dugas at the Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. Dr. Dugas recently operated on former WWE Universal champion Finn Balor as well as John Cena, Cesaro, as well as Seth Rollins.

It is not clear when Rowan suffered the injury. He is expected to be out of action for up to six months. It’s not been the best year for the Wyatt Family as Luke Harper also had to undergo surgery on his knee in March, missing WrestleMania.
