Fans and peers congratulate Big E on WWE title win

Big E always asks his fans not to dare to be sour and Twitterverse was not sour at all as fans – and peers – seem to have approved Big E finally winning the WWE title.

The outpouring support that Big E got on social media, especially from his co-workers and those who know him, really showcases what kind of man Ettore Ewen really is.

“I’m on cloud 9 right now! Words cannot describe how incredibly proud of my brother,” wrote Kofi Kingston, who went through something similar in 2019. “So well deserved! The BIGGEST congratulations to Big E. Hard work pays off!”

His other partner in The New Day, Xavier Woods, added, “Big E winning the title is really good for pro wrestling. He’s a genuine person who loves what he does and wants nothing but the best for everyone around him. Top tier human and I’m proud to call him my brother.”

Roman Reigns, who is the Universal champion and also a target of the MITB cash in, retweeted the news of the new champion crowned and simply said, “Smart decision,” although that probably is for Big E cashing in on Lashley rather than himself!

“This. is. awesome,” wrote Raw Women’s champion Charlotte Flair while Smackdown Women’s champion Becky Lynch wrote, “The best. Congratulation Big E. My Ma also says congrats!”

“When WWE gets it right…they really get it right,” wrote WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray. “ps…Its a long way to the top if ya wanna Rock-n-Roll…Congrats Big E.”

Support also came from those in AEW, with both Jade Cargill and and Evil Uno of The Dark Order both congratulating the new WWE champion.
