First betting odds for SummerSlam 2021

It’s SummerSlam week finally and the Superstars of WWE are ready to rock Las Vegas with the first SummerSlam to be held in a stadium since 1992 in London, England.

Over 40,000 fans are expected at the brand new Allegiant Stadium this Saturday for the biggest event of the Summer. This will be WWE’s biggest event since WrestleMania 35 in terms of fans as the company slowly eases back to life after – and during – the age of COVID-19.

Betting on SummerSlam is expected to pick up pace this week and we’re happy to bring you some of the first odds for this show with eight matches available to bet on.

The main event will be a big one, with Roman Reigns defending the Universal title against John Cena. Cena can hit Ric Flair’s record of 17 title wins if he manages to beat the champ. But as it’s often the case, Roman Reigns is the favorite to keep his title according to SportsBettingDime.com, with his odds at -500 while those of Cena at +300.

Another part timer will be in the other main event for the WWE title, with Bobby Lashley defending against Hall of Famer Goldberg. Goldberg, just like he was at the Rumble, remains the underdog with his odds at +350 while the champ sits pretty comfortable with -600 odds.

The Smackdown Women’s title will be on the line – hopefully – as Bianca Belair takes on Sasha Banks. The two were absent from this past weekend’s live shows so it’s unclear what the status is for the match. The champion Belair is -200 favorite at the moment while Banks is +150.

Will WWE’s resident Almost Super Hero Nikki be able to retain the Raw Women’s title in the triple threat match against Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair? Odds seem to favor Nikki A.S.H. at the moment as she is at -125 while Flair is +150 for yet another title reign and Ripley is at +250.

One match which will surely deliver is Edge vs Seth Rollins. It’s the first time that these two will go one-on-one against each other in a wrestling ring and Edge is currently the favorite with his odds at -300 while Rollins is +200.

Former 3MB members Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal will face each other at SummerSlam. The two former WWE champions went their separate ways years ago but they meet again this Saturday. McIntyre is the overwhelming favorite at -500 odds while Mahal is +300.

Rey and Dominik Mysterio have another shot at the Smackdown Tag Team titles when they take on The Usos. Jimmy and Jey are the favorites to walk out of Vegas with the titles with odds of -400 while the Mysterios are at +250.

It’s looking like Damien Priest will be getting his hands on the first gold on the main roster as bookies have him favorite against Sheamus for the United States title. Priest stands at -500 while Sheamus is at +150.
