First-ever Women’s Rumble match headlining the Royal Rumble

The first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match will go on last on the card tonight.

This will be the first time that a women’s match will close out the Rumble and the first time also that a women’s match will main event a joint-brand pay-per-view.

The women’s match will be filled with surprises as there are 13 open spots available after Alicia Fox was pulled from the match earlier tonight. Pretty much the whole available main roster – minus the champions – are in the match so that means the rest must come from either NXT, former Legends, or indie talent.

The big news for the women’s Rumble is Ronda Rousey’s involvement. She has been rumored to be part of the match but this weekend she flew to Colombia to film Mile 22.
