First participants announced for Money In The Bank 2021 ladder matches

WWE wasted no time in having Money In The Bank qualifying matches, with several taking place on Raw last night.

Two MITB ladder matches will take place next month, one featuring the men, and one featuring the women, with the winners each getting a shot at the title whenever they want.

The men who qualified last night were Ricochet, John Morrison, and Riddle who each beat AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and Drew McIntyre respectively. The losers of the qualifying match will get a last chance to qualify next week in a triple threat match.

Last year’s winner Asuka, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, and Nikki Cross also qualified for the women’s match. They were paired in tag teams and beat Eva Marie and Doudrop and Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler respectively.

With each match having eight participants, the remaining four men and four women will come from the Smackdown brand.
