Hartford’s Mayor office says Raw taping tonight is canceled

The Communications Director for the Hartford Mayor has announced on Twitter that the Monday Night Raw at the XL Center scheduled for tonight in Hartford, Connecticut, has been officially canceled.

“Tonight’s WWE event at XL center in #Hartford is CANCELLED. New date TBD,” the tweet by Maribel La Luz read.

Deputy Chief Brian J. Foley Chief of Detectives Hartford Police Department tweeted that common sense has prevailed and urged people to stay home.

As of this writing WWE has not issued an official statement on the state of Raw and what will air instead.
