Hulk Hogan meets WWE Superstars backstage at Extreme Rules

Newly reinstated WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was backstage at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view yesterday to formally apologize to the whole roster for his use of racial remarks which were leaked on the Internet three years ago.

PWInsider.com reports that Hogan held a meeting with everyone and told the younger stars to be careful what to say because you never know who’s watching and who’s recording you, even if you do not consent to being recorded.

PWInsider adds that the majority of the locker room were rooting for the Hulkster, hugged him and shook his hand, a gesture that made Hogan very emotional.

Hogan also tweeted about meeting the guys backstage, writing, “Just met with the @WWE Superstars and on all levels the volume of love and support was overwhelming. I’ve been praying for this day and I finally feel like I made it back home. Only Love 4 the #WWEUNIVERSE brother.”

Apart from a minor interaction earlier this year at the Andre The Giant HBO documentary screening, Hogan had no business with WWE since his firing in mid-2015.

Hogan has not signed a new deal with WWE as of yet but it sure is looking that way judging from what transpired yesterday.
