Hulk Hogan ready for an active role within WWE

Hulk Hogan is back in the good graces of WWE and the WWE Hall of Famer is now eyeing a more active role within the company for WrestleMania 36. The Hulkster, who is from Tampa, kicked off the festivities earlier this week to announce that WrestleMania is coming to Tampa next year.

The Tampa Bay Times caught up with Hogan after the event to ask him what his future role with the company will be. Hogan admitted that he’s not really sure what he’ll be doing because he certainly can’t wrestle anymore but Vince “has this master plan.”

“And I don’t mind being the hood ornament, and I don’t mind being the Babe Ruth of the promotion, but Vince is putting together a whole new thing. I still feel like I’m 20 in my head, but my body’s telling me, ‘Easy, brother.’ I’m not sure what the title is, but hopefully really soon I’ll be back and really, really active,” Hogan said.

In the same interview, Hogan also discusses the deaths of King Kong Bundy and his long-time friend Mean Gene Okerlund.
