Gentleman Jack Gallagher became the first WWE casualty of the #SpeakingOut movement after WWE released the now-former 205 Live star.
“WWE has come to terms on the release of Jack Gallagher,” a short statement on WWE.COM read.
Gallagher did not deny the accusations brought against him by a female named Becky and reached out to a friend in common to apologize to her privately. However, the victim did not accept it and told him to apologize publicly to everyone he hurt. Gallagher was accused of getting her drunk and then tried to sexually abuse her in the bathroom during a 2014 New Year’s Eve party.
Another accuser also came forward following the story with a similar one.
As of this writing, Gallagher has not addressed any of the incidents or his release publicly. He had been working for WWE since 2016 mainly on 205 Live and occasionally on NXT.
