Ibushi was accompanied by former WWE star Funaki and backstage posed for a photo with NXT’s William Regal as well. WWE did not announce that he signed with the company however in an article on WWE.COM they wrote, “Does the man they call ‘Golden Star’ have plans to enter his name into the recently announced Global Cruiserweight Series? What dream matchup could be in store for Ibushi?”
